Writer's Block: There Once Was a Girl from Nantucket
It's Limerick Day! Share a favorite or compose your own humorous five-line poem with an AABBA rhyme structure.
There once was a dark-haired boy from Armagh,
who had big ears and traveled afar,
to meet a blond prat from Devonshire,
whose blue eyes he learnt to admire,
until he became his favourite tv star.

Not very creative, I know, but it's something to hopefully help get me over my writer's block! I'm totally failing right now....and I still have almost three entire fics to write! *head desk*

It took me long enough to write it! I'm totally aus-der-Übung wenn it comes to poems or something similar.

Now I can't stop grinning because you said it's cute :-D :-D :-D

It seems that way, doesn't it? Think it's the bad influence of your Denglisch ;-)

I have writer's block too. My Merlin Big Bang may not get finished if I can't get my butt in gear. Anyway, did it help? the limerick, I mean. Did it help you get over your writer's block?

It did, but also something happened yesterday that inspired me to write some sad fic....

And thanks sweetie :-)

I hope you get over that writer's block *hugs* And hey, take heart in the fact that you can still write limericks with that block; I can't even write limericks (or anything with rhyme) even when I'm clear-headed. :DD It just doesn't run in my blood. :DD
